Dual active bridge bidirectional converter is the most commonly utilized converter in EV applications because of its advantages like high efficiency, decreased number of switches, wide operating range and soft switching commutation. In this paper, performance comparison of fuzzy logic and PI controlled dual active bridge bidirectional converter with single phase shift modulation is done using MATLAB Simulink software. The results of the simulation studies show that Fuzzy logic control has better performance and good regulation of the DC voltage over PI control. This type of circuit can be used in situations where dependability, high voltage conversion ratio, cost weight, power density, and galvanic isolation are important considerations.

摘要
