This research explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance scenario planning and strategic foresight capabilities in business consulting. Through a comprehensive literature review, expert interviews, and case studies, we examine how AI technologies like machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics are being leveraged to augment traditional scenario planning methods. Our findings indicate that AI can significantly improve the speed, scale, and accuracy of scenario development while uncovering novel insights and reducing cognitive biases. However, challenges remain around data quality, algorithm transparency, and integrating AI-generated scenarios with human expertise. We propose a framework for effectively combining AI and human intelligence in scenario planning and strategic foresight processes. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on AI applications in management consulting and offers practical recommendations for consultants and business leaders.
