Conclusion: A Commentary on Pakistan’s Decolonial Future
摘要
This chapter explores the decolonial strategies put forward by decolonial thinkers, both in the social sciences generally and International Relations specifically. It draws from a variety of resources available in the Global South and explore strategies of decolonization which would culturally and intellectually ameliorate Pakistani International Relations, given its unique setting. It begins with exploring decoloniality as an intellectual movement aimed at liberating (post)colonial societies from Eurocentric domination by examining the intellectual contributions on decoloniality produced by scholars who have worked on and in (post)colonial space. It then provides a strategy for a decolonial International Relations academe in Pakistan on three different levels: the higher educational structure, International Relations scholarship and the International Relations classroom.
