This paper introduces a framework for assessing organizational readiness, integrating sociocultural and technical dimensions through a sociotechnical perspective. By leveraging composite indicators, the framework provides a detailed evaluation encompassing vision, culture, human resources, technological infrastructure, and processes. It underscores the importance of a systemic approach, highlighting that focusing on isolated technical improvements may hinder successful Industry 4.0 adoption. Serving as a strategic guide, this framework enables organizations to holistically assess their preparedness and plan for seamless integration of Industry 4.0 technologies.
