Solar Power Generation in Different SIEVs with Different Seasons for Sustainable Transportation: A Case Study
摘要
Solar modules integrated EVs (SIEVs) embody a novel approach to augmenting the sustainability of transportation by incorporating photovoltaic cells directly into the top of the vehicle body, enabling them to harness solar energy to charge the battery. This article examines three kinds of battery capacities of SIEVs with varying sizes of PV modules put on top, as well as various positions, such as the roof, trunk, and hood positions, in terms of power production, SoC, and battery capacity over several seasons. The main aims of SIEVs research are to enhance vehicle range and reduce reliance on the grid.
