An exoskeleton robot is a wearable mechanical device designed to augment, assist, or enhance human movement and physical capabilities. These robotic systems typically feature external frameworks that support and replicate the structure and function of the human body, often integrating sensors, actuators, and control systems to enable dynamic interaction with the wearer. That is, the robot assesses the wear’s motion intention and provides the appropriate assistance via physical interaction to suit that intention.
