One specific kind of problem with concrete buildings is cracks. It weakens the walls’ structural integrity, reduces the building’s usefulness and beauty, and even shortens the building’s lifespan. Cracking is the term for any inevitable reaction in a structure. Some construction designers are studying a lot of the reasons why things break. Everyone wants their building to be safe. Due to a combination of subpar building techniques and external conditions, many of the building’s structural and non-structural parts start to crack. It is essential to identify these cracks and take precautions. There are many different materials and restoration techniques available, depending on the size and location of the cracks in the structure. The issue of post-construction cracking that affects civil engineers and the precautions that should be taken to treat cracks have been discussed in this review research.
