The chapter explores the burgeoning field of green synthesis approaches, particularly focusing on the use of nano-biopolymers for environmental applications. It delves into various eco-friendly methodologies, including sol–gel synthesis, microwave-assisted techniques, electrospinning, emulsion-based methods, and biomimetic synthesis, each offering distinct advantages for the sustainable production of nanomaterials. Nano-biopolymers, characterized by their biodegradability, low toxicity, and renewability, stand at the forefront of these advancements, demonstrating their crucial role in fostering environmentally conscious nanotechnology. The chapter highlights the transformative potential of these materials in applications such as environmental remediation, water purification, and drug delivery, positioning sustainable nanotechnology not just as an ideal, but as a practical solution to reducing the ecological footprint associated with conventional nanomaterial synthesis.
