Analyzing the Employees’ Satisfaction on Implemented Company Activities to Address Job Stress and Burnout for Work-From-Home Setup
摘要
The study firmly believes the cruciality and importance of prioritizing identification, prevention, and treatment of burnout cases since it might have been an ongoing problem – experienced, presently being experienced, or near to becoming a victim – for the employees, and it might pose damaging impact for both sides when ignored or not treated as a priority. For this research, it determined the degree of burnout instances among the respondents, and assessed the solutions that were initiated by testing if burnout is less likely to be faced through participation in the Company activities. The results showed that during work-from-home setup, more than half of the respondents suffered burnout and almost all the confirmed non-burnout victims are identified to possess a sign of approaching burnout which should trigger a warning. Activities that were recommended to be implemented where chance of non-burnout risks increases: to help employees focus on self-care, adopt coping/health strategies, build meaningful interpersonal relationships among colleagues, and promote and evaluate workload and balance. Meanwhile, having additional hours for both sleep and personal space or time for the employees is deemed essential to reduce the burnout risk.
