Necessary fundamental and applied Ergonomics and Human factors information must be communicated efficiently to key stakeholders, particularly executives, project & front-line managers, and labour organisations. This article presents the development of the publication “Giving your business the human factors edge: Making it happen!”, which is a product of the Science, Technology and Practice (STP) Standing Committee of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA). It involved a team of subject experts working iteratively, complemented by artificial intelligence platforms. It is the second in a series of three documents aimed at bringing EHF to a wider audience and is intended to address the needs of middle and project managers in an organisation. It follows the 2022 publication for executives with the similar title “Giving your business the human factors edge”. A final, labour-focused publication is planned in future.
