As of the second half of the eighteenth century, the Industrial Revolution took place first in Britain and then spread to other European countries and the United States, driving rapid capitalism development and providing new impetus for colonial expansion. Western powers’ colonial expansion and rule provoked strong resistance from the oppressed peoples across the world. Meanwhile, the historical course of capitalism development gave rise to its own grave-diggers, i.e., the proletariat, which began to embark on a glorious journey for the emancipation of themselves and humanity at large.
