In the context of the 2024 revision of the World Medical Association (WMA)’s Declaration of Helsinki (DoH), I have been involved in the revision process as the Chair of the Ethics Working Group of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP), with its members, and finally attended the WMA General Assembly, celebrating the remarkable improvements that have been made. This revision is a historic change, particularly from the perspective of patient and public involvement. However, some unresolved and priority issues remain. In April 2025, I was designated to be the new President-Elect of the IFAPP. As I have worked over the past 5 years together with outstanding experts and patient–public colleagues, I wish to dedicate myself to further developing collaboration and cocreation to address the remaining challenges for improvement of health and well-being in the view of a community and global scale.

摘要
