Since its founding in 1975, IFAPP has worked with global stakeholders in medical and research ethics, including the recent revision of the World Medical Association’s Declaration of Helsinki. IFAPP’s initiative embraces innovation and new technologies, enabling members, health professionals and scientists to keep abreast of developments and enhance their skills through continuous, high-quality education and training in science and ethics. This chapter describes IFAPP’s strategy to integrate ethical skills into practice, enabling pharmaceutical medicine professionals to navigate complex ethical dilemmas in research and patient care using the IFAPP Ethics Framework.
