Historically contextualizing Dual Degree programs, the research delineates their evolution globally and within Morocco, identifying gaps and potential in adopting online modalities. The study centers on the feasibility, implementation strategies, and prospective benefits of online and hybrid Dual Degree programs, underpinned by data collected from Moroccan universities and international precedents. Through surveys, document analysis, and case studies, the research assesses the necessary infrastructure, partnerships, and resources, evaluating their capacity to foster sustainable and beneficial international collaborations. The findings intend to provide insights into the transformative potential of online and hybrid Dual Degree programs, proposing actionable strategies for stakeholders aiming to advance Moroccan higher education’s global engagement.
