Encrypting and Extracting Data in IoT Devices Using Steganography and Cryptography as a Means of User Authentication
摘要
The Internet of Things, or “things,” is an interconnected system composed of material components, or “things,” that have been integrated by sensors, source code, and other technologies to enable online communication and connection between systems and devices. By using steganography and cryptography methods, however, this data can be secured. In terms of privacy and authentication for users, these techniques are essential. In this article, a cryptography technique known as the dynamic sbox oriented rijndael cipher is used to encrypt data obtained from many sources related to medicine and medical sensors. To add even more safety, an LSB steganography approach built around ROM is employed, which involves embedding encrypted data within a picture with low structure. The obtained results are utilized for determining a number of parameters. Ultimately, the information hidden within the image is recovered and decoded.
