KEIIFFC: Keyframe Extraction from Historical Videos Using Intra and Inter-frame Features-Based on Clustering
摘要
A sequence of frames, captured at intervals and shown at a particular speed, forms what we see as video. However, not all frames are needed, as including each one makes the processing complex. Keyframe extraction is a method that selects and preserves only the frames that accurately depict. The original material is showcased in the video. This paper proposed a method of keyframe extraction from historical videos based on intra-inter-frame features with clustering (KEIIFFC). First, intra-frame image features are derived using a combination of various image attributes. Next, inter-frame distance features are obtained by merging several distance matrices. After that, DBSCAN clustering is applied to create the cluster and select the best frame from the individual cluster as a keyframe.
