Advancing Sustainable Rice Farming in India with Climate-Smart Technologies
摘要
At present, India emphasizes for strategic crop planning in reducing soil and water degradation, as well as the need for quick action to align farming methods with natural resources. In the present work, a detailed analysis of important characteristics such as rainfall, temperature, and growing degree days (GDD) of crops are used to identify rice yield production. The independent variables such as solar radiation intensity (in terms of GDD), temperature, and water availability, and their impact on rice growth and productivity are discussed. The work emphasizes the importance of understanding temperature thresholds at various growth stages and further aims for precision agriculture and innovative breeding strategies to improve rice development.
