Miniaturized Single Element MIMO Antenna Integrated with CSRR for Wi-Fi 6E and X-Band Applications
摘要
Modern antenna technology widely integrates MIMO configurations to enhance the workings of the telecommunication systems. Innovations such as MIMO and distributed antenna systems (DASs) play a crucial role in improving communication efficiency in both terrestrial and aviation applications. This study introduces a compact, broadband, orthogonally arranged MIMO antenna operating for Wi-Fi 6E and various X-band applications. With that of the proposed antenna, where the distinctive elements are said to be radiating and planes are grounded partially to optimize band isolation while preserving high radiation efficiency. It is designed on an FR4 substrate integrated with a complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR) and has compact dimensions of 25 mm × 25 mm, which is more feasible for deployment in multi-band wireless devices. The proposed work is applicable to wireless broadband communication, telecommunication, and radio detection and ranging systems, including various X-band and 6E-related applications.
