Object Tracking System Using Edge Computing

Object tracking is essential for identifying and following moving objects across a sequence of frames in video streams. However, traditional object tracking devices often lack the ability to autonomously track objects, relying instead on manual control of static cameras via software applications. This research presents an object tracking system designed to automatically detect and follow moving targets. The system utilizes advanced algorithms to continuously monitor and track objects in real time, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of the implemented algorithm in consistently tracking moving objects. Experimental results demonstrate the system’s ability to autonomously follow detected targets, validating the accuracy of the tracking mechanism and its potential for applications in automated surveillance and other related fields.
