Analysis of Children’s Problem-Solving Ability with Immersive Virtual Reality Environment
摘要
VR gaming is the concept utilized to explain a new era of computer games with virtual reality (VR) technique, which offers players a profoundly engaging, first-person view of game actions. Players can experience and regulate the game settings utilizing a collection of VR gaming equipment and accessories containing VR headsets, sensor-outfitted gloves, hand regulators, and many. Instead of sitting for a long time with a controller, VR gaming facilitates children to be physically dynamic while recognizing every enjoyment of conventional games. It also increases user knowledge and information. Developing the children's ability is considered a significant academic aim since courses of study alone in education won’t give problem-solving skills to the children. The utilization of the VR technique will help identify the students’ capability to understand their problem-solving ability by offering them more challenging circumstances, making learning very entertaining and communicative, and helps develop children’s inspiration and concentration. This will help the children to identify and examine their intelligence. This study analyzed the utilization of usual fundamental activities depending on video-based virtual reality games and physical games. Additionally, we authenticated the effect of those activities on problem-solving ability. For this purpose, a maze board game with several laps was made for physical activity, and a virtual reality maze game (a replica of the board game) was also developed. A group of 30 students was chosen for the study and tested for the problem-solving capability with the board game and the virtual reality game. The analysis of the study shows that when compared to physical games, the virtual reality game boosts up the student brain activity and improves the children’s problem-solving skills efficiently.
