Photonic Quantum Router-Repeater Architecture-Based Network Design for Urban Environments
摘要
Recent quantum technology innovations enable secure, high-speed communication networks, but coherence preservation and noise management problems remain, particularly in urban environments with optical channel loss. This paper proposes an architecture that integrates repeater functionality into router nodes to address these problems. The quantum router node, according to IETF standards, combines quantum repeater and routing functionalities to minimize photon loss. Results from simulations shows high fidelity and efficient entanglement distribution with increased scalability and robustness for urban quantum networks.
