Non-invasive Glucose Monitoring Device
摘要
The standard method of measuring blood sugar is to prick the fingertip, collect a drop of blood, and analyze it. Now that such invasive glucometers are commercially accessible, patients can use them at home. For every measurement employing this established method, the fingertip must be repeatedly pinched. To manage proper glucose level in the blood, the blood glucose level needs to be monitored continuously. Every time it requires skin penetration, which cause uncomfortable to the user in their daily activities. Additionally, such intrusive gadgets are more expensive and each test must be performed using brand-new test strips. Alternative solution for the method is to use the non-invasive method to check the glucose level. Numerous studies have been conducted using methods like infrared spectroscopy in order to develop non-invasive (without touching the skin) glucose monitoring approaches. This paper provides a non-invasive glucose measurement method that uses NIR spectroscopy to find the blood sugar level.
