The halfway evaluation of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which was released in September 2023, was not optimistic as expected. Among all the 169 goals, only 15% of the SDGs are on track, 49% show minimal or moderate progress, while 36% of the goals show signs of stagnation or regression. Such warning report arose human society that the 2030 Agenda will become no more than an epitaph for a world that might have been unless we take urgent action now.
