Conventional methods of chemical processing of textiles rely on water-intensive processes and hazardous chemicals, leading to ecological damage through toxic wastewater, high energy consumption, and significant carbon emissions. Plasma technology offers a transformative solution as a dry, energy-efficient, and chemically neutral alternative. Industrial plasma treatment enables precise modification of textile surface properties at the molecular level, enhancing dyeability, water resistance, antimicrobial properties, and adhesion without affecting the structural integrity of the textiles. This technology utilizes ionized gas to achieve functionalities that traditional methods struggle to provide sustainably.
