AI-Based Anomaly Detection in Poultry: A Comprehensive Review

This paper presents an analysis of recent research into artificial intelligence for the management of poultry abnormalities, health, and welfare. It focuses on poultry welfare, a field facing challenges regarding assessment criteria and effective monitoring systems. This applies in particular to broiler health and epidemic prevention. The study presents advanced AI technologies and their recent developments in this field. Finally, it examines the various research focused on the use of Deep Learning algorithms to automatically detect abnormalities in hens. This study highlights the strong potential of digital technologies to automate poultry management, improving production quality and profitability. It presents the main applications in poultry welfare and highlights promising results, with accuracies of up to 99.46%.
