The internationalization of higher education has become a significant global phenomenon in recent years, driven by the increasing interconnectedness of the globalized world. It refers to the process of integrating international perspectives, experiences, and collaborations into higher education institutions and programmes (Knight, J., 2012, Teichler, U. 2014). This expansion is aimed at providing students and faculty members to look beyond the “Zeitgeist” to overcome the idiosyncrasies with global competencies and fostering cross-cultural understanding of the current educational scenario (Altbach, P. G., 2017, Marginson, S., 2016). The internationalization of higher education involves the integration of an international or global dimension into various aspects of higher education institutions and programmes (De Wit, H., 2011). It encompasses dimensions such as student mobility, curriculum internationalization, research collaboration, and institutional partnerships. By embracing internationalization, universities and colleges aim to prepare students for a globalized world, promote cross-cultural understanding, and contribute to global knowledge creation and dissemination. This empirical study will examine the various dimensions of internationalization, including student mobility, curriculum internationalization, research collaboration, and institutional partnerships.

摘要
