Under the strategic guidance of urban acupuncture theory, this teaching practice requires students to break traditional forms, focus on human-centred care, and adopt new materials and construction methods to reinvigorate the ancient city and improve the drawbacks of the existing crafts. The practice comprehensively cultivates students’ abilities in design strategy, technical training, project coordination, and so on, providing new ideas for the teaching plan and practical exploration of ancient city regeneration.
