The quality of subgrade is significant for highway construction. Conventional compaction evaluation methods can only obtain several single point data, and it could lead to underestimation or overestimation. To prevent this, the concept of continuous compaction control can be introduced using the dynamic response of vibratory roller. This paper presents the field experimental data including dynamic response of roller drum, modulus distribution by LWD. The regression models of compaction quality evaluation were proposed based on the acceleration of roller drum and CMV. Results showed that it is more recommended to apply the acceleration of roller drum as evaluation index of subgrade.
