Design an Integrated Educational Technology to Enhance Knowledge Transfer in Energy Management Training Courses
摘要
Today, industry engineers and operators are increasingly focusing on energy management, a key driver of innovation. This focus leads to the creation of new, more efficient technologies that enhance processes and practices, ultimately boosting productivity and cutting costs. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is pivotal in this landscape, empowering energy management systems to optimize energy distribution and utilization within industrial facilities. Moreover, numerous studies have noted that knowledge transfer training courses for engineers or operators are crucial for improving engineer reskilling and upskilling. However, several barriers can hinder effective knowledge transfer, including engineers’ lack of training in cutting-edge technology and the absence of access to relevant knowledge and instructional material. This study proposes using modern educational technology, such as an energy management learning kit and augmented reality (AR) tool, to drive practical training activity. These offer significant potential to overcome these barriers and enhance engineer reskilling and upskilling related to energy management for sustainability in the industrial sector.
