Proposing Simulation Software Inquiry-Based Learning Model to Improve Students’ Practical Skills in Electric Motor Control
摘要
In most motor control courses, the complexity of electric motor control circuits often poses challenges for students in vocational education, leading to a decline in their interest in learning. A lack of engaging learning materials and practical activities makes it easier for learners to practice their skills effectively. Furthermore, many studies have shown that most technical problems, including short circuits and motor damage, are caused by improper wiring and power supply connections. This study aims to propose simulation software inquiry-based learning to enhance learners’ practical skills in motor control systems. The focus is on engaging learners in self-directed exploration and inquiry through questioning, problem-solving, and hands-on practice. The teacher is crucial in guiding students through this process, providing support and resources as needed. While the student can visualize and experiment with complex circuits in a safe and interactive environment, fostering a sense of security and confidence. It provides opportunities for practice and review without the risk of damaging actual equipment. The anticipated outcome of this research is to support integrating practical learning technologies into educational curricula and improve the effectiveness of skill development, preparing vocational students for future work environments.
