Our project focuses on developing an automated mailing bot tailored for university events, leveraging Selenium, Hugging-face BART, and SMTP protocols. The bot streamlines the process of disseminating event information to students by extracting data from the university website using Selenium, categorizing events based on descriptions using Hugging-face BART’s zero-shot classification, and sending personalized emails using SMTP. This automation enhances student engagement by delivering relevant event details directly to their inbox based on their preferences. The significance of this work lies in its potential to increase student participation in university activities, foster a sense of community, and streamline event management processes for organizers. Using cutting-edge technologies in web scraping, natural language processing, and email automation, our project aims to revolutionize the way universities communicate and engage with their student body. The results show better awareness of the event, higher attendance rates, and simplified communication channels, contributing to a more vibrant and connected university ecosystem. Our approach offers a significant advancement over manual event promotion methods, providing personalized and targeted event recommendations tailored to individual student interests and preferences .

摘要
