Fake currency is one of the biggest problems seriously affecting the nation's economy, and more so is the case for India. Based on this realization, this paper depicts an advanced version of fake currency detection involving the latest and state-of the-art image processing methods and deep learning mechanisms. In particular, this work applies YOLO (You Only Look Once) for extracting features along with CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) for classification among real and fake currency notes. It enables the uploading of photographs of currency notes with ease, making it easier for users to access. The methodology includes image processing, feature extraction, and analysis to detect fake notes. This paper gives an effective solution for the prevention of counterfeit currency and the protection of financial systems.
