A Study on Growth of Rural Banking of India

This study covers rural banking in India with reference to its evolution, impact, and prospects in the future. Indeed, it played a fundamental role in India's economic development by ensuring that finance includes growth and growth of agriculture through financial institutions and fostering enterprises within rural setups. Expansion in such banking has resulted from initiatives related to policy support, development of technologies, and growth in institutions such as microfinance institutions. The goal of this research is to analyze several factors that stimulate the growth of rural banking, including government initiatives, financial awareness programs, and novel digital banking techniques. It talks about the challenges associated with a rural bank, which include poor infrastructural facilities, low financial knowledge, and related regulatory issues. Mixed method approach: A combination of quantitative analysis of data using statistical tools to analyze the problem followed by qualitative methods of interviews involving stakeholders to study the current and future trends for a holistic overview of the progress of rural banks in India. Therefore, the amount of work has been done well, but there certainly needs to be more effort. Recommendations for policymakers, financial institutions, and community organizations are presented to address the challenges identified and to capitalize on opportunities for sustainable growth in rural banking.
