Disasters are generally caused by nature or human intervention, and have had an awful effect on civilizations throughout history. Coastal areas, like Chennai and Gujarat are often exposed to deal with harsh circumstances. Similarly other regions in the country as well across the globe have to face such challenges. Thus, the role of pre-disaster and post-disaster management approaches becomes necessary. The disaster management and prediction system is a new well-prepared platform which provides an effective assessment of natural and made disasters through accurate methods. To the point of unexpected situations, it provides for Aid and Organization. That uses modern and cutting-edge data science approaches to build forecasting (prognostic) algorithms of disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis from the past information, specific to that area. The model additionally provides predictions and also offers recommendations in the event of a calamity. The online created and maintained web-based system has innovative functions like real-time location tracking for quick rescues. The online platform has a unique and innovative feature wherein there is a blog section for those survivors who can share their personal past experiences of going through an emergency. For a much better preparedness, it also features a separate section for videos and mock drill tutorials and promotes community bonding as well. The principal objective is to combine these modern technologies with widely available resources to create a society that is safer and well-prepared. The algorithm used for the earthquake prediction is regression and for the first aid prediction decision tree is used.
