Smart Irrigation System with Weather Forecast Integration
摘要
Agricultural over-irrigation or unequal water distribution wastes water. Therefore, farmers seek smart irrigation systems to remotely monitor and regulate irrigation based on real-time water delivery. An affordable smart irrigation system boosts water efficiency, agricultural productivity, and environmental monitoring. The ESP32 microcontroller system forecasts weather using the Open Weather Map API and monitors pH, temperature, air humidity, and soil wetness to manage watering. MQTT offers remote monitoring and control, and Free Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) optimizes scheduling to save water waste and boost crop growth. Modularity lets the system fit small gardens and large fields. Monitoring pH lets farmers control fertilizer for healthier crops and continue cropping. Current precision farming uses cloud-based weather data streams, making this technology more versatile. This system could revolutionize irrigation with remote control, resource management, and real-time environmental monitoring.
