In the aerospace sector, epoxy resins stand as a foundation material due to their versatility and widespread use across multiple applications. Leveraging the reactivity of epoxy groups with benzoxazine and cyanate ester, this initial study is to explore the fusion of these chemistry to create tri-polymer alloys—Trilloy. This approach aims to harness the unique functionalities of all three elements, yielding a homogeneous material suitable for manufacturing prepregs and HPRTM systems. The development of these Trilloy presents an avenue for pioneering composite matrices, coatings, and adhesives, paving the way for advancement in aerospace programs.
