Applying the method of the linear stability analysis, we investigateBose-Einstein condensate the modulational instability phenomenon thatModulational instability predicts the formation of matter wave solitons in coupled Bose-Einstein condensates whose dynamics are governed by the Gross-Pitaevskii equations with external potentials.
