Understanding Environmental Migration: A Start-Up Kit
摘要
Environmental migrants are people who are compelled to leave their home region or choose to do so, either temporarily or permanently, predominantly because of slow- or rapid-onset changes in their environment that compromise their well-being or livelihoodLivelihoods. Climate change is a driver of human mobility that is expected to compound the displacement of populations: developing more effective responses to this global challenge calls for improvements in definitions, theories, normative frameworks, and research.
