The Potential of Mixed Reality (MR) Companions for Navigation—A Systematic Literature Review
摘要
This research discusses how Mixed Reality (MR) companions may improve user experience in navigation to help overcome social loneliness. Current MR navigation solutions are not human centered in their design or equipping with social skills, hence failing in actual real world applications such as women's safety, language and social networking. This study is based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and a primary survey with young adults, highlights the need for MR companions with empathy, contextual awareness and adaptability. Findings suggest that MR companions can reduce cognitive load, enhance engagement through anthropomorphic design, and provide real time, culturally sensitive assistance. They would enable safety, multilingual learning and social interaction without supplanting human relationships. Research in future should be centered on emotional intelligence, cross-platform compatibility and ethics, to promote trust and long term effects. MR companions promise to be empathetic assistants enhancing navigation, emotional well-being and security across various user scenarios.
