This chapter demonstrates the methodological strategy that elucidates data and analytical techniques to evaluate the performance of inclusive housing policy in Shenzhen, China. It details the two-staged sampling strategy, neighborhood-level and individual-level data source, four types of variables and measures, and descriptive statistics of sample characteristics. For quantifying neighborhood effects and the mediation role, the application of multilevel modeling and multilevel structural equations modeling for serial mediation analysis are justified as the main analytical strategies to cope with the nested dataset. Besides, dominance analysis is employed to examine the relative importance of the four specific housing mix indicators.

摘要
