Telematics is a multidisciplinary field that integrates telecommunications and informatics. It plays a vital part in modern vehicle management by providing various features including GPS tracking, remote diagnostics, and driver behavior analysis. Nevertheless, current telematics systems frequently lack the incorporation of many components, such as real-time data processing and individualized feedback mechanisms. This study primarily investigates the current field failures in the telematics unit and proposes a remedy by evaluating the failures and identifying the root cause using tools such as a Pareto chart and a cause-and-effect table.
