A carbon credit ranging from 3864 to 26,460 ₹ and 7980 to 51,240 ₹, respectively, with single and double-basin solar still over a 5–30 years lifespan, with a 5 year step. CO2 mitigation costs $2.4 per ton. The amount of CO2 mitigated varies depending on 40 tons to 254 and tons 19 tons to 131 tons, respectively, for single- and double-basin solar stills.
