Experimental Study on the Influence of Operating Parameter of CI DI Engine Fueled by Optimum Flamboyant Bio-diesel Blend
摘要
Utilizing locally available non-edible seeds for the production of bio-diesel has been a holistic approach in many respects. CI engine running at a rated speed of 1500 rpm using B25 FME has been evaluated under standard operating parameter (SOP) (CR 17.5, IP 210 bar, and IT 24° CA bTDC) and optimum operating parameter (OOP) (CR 18.5, IP 230 bar, and IT 30° CA bTDC). The results of investigation revealed that the optimum operating parameter has considerable effect on engine traits. It is observed that, at maximum load under OOP, the BSFC is declined by 17.66%, BTHE is increased by 2.8%, the EGT and SE are declined by 8.7% and 9.75% and while the emission of CO and HC is declined by 18.36% and 10.52% with the enhancement of NOx emission by 8.6%.
