Alternative Drying Methods for Agricultural Products: A Critical Study
摘要
In the tropics and subtropics, sun drying agricultural goods is still a frequent preservation technique. We look closely at past attempts to sun dry fish, fruits, vegetables, grains, spices, and medicinal plants. The proposed study project reveals the relative performance features of non-conventional drying techniques for perishable food goods. The purpose of a drier is to raise the crop moisture’s vapour pressure to the proper level by exposing the articles to more heat than would be predicted from the surrounding air. This improves the goods’ moisture migrations. The power-intensive aeration process is essential to numerous industrialized applications, including the foodstuff, fabric, paper, and lots of other dealing out sectors. It appears that the most cost-effective drying methods are also the environmentally safest. The primary driver of the growing use of convertible energy resources is the pollution of the environment caused by greenhouse gas emissions. Since they have a lower environmental effect than conventional energy sources, geothermal, wind, and solar technologies are regarded as clean energy sources. As a major source and component of renewable resources, astral thermal power finds widespread application across several industries.
