Analysis of Thermal Power Cycle Using PV and CSP Solar System
摘要
The title of project is “Analysis of Thermal Power Cycle using PV and CSP Solar System” that aims to bring out the enhanced efficiency of thermal power plant using PV and CSP solar system, with help of PV and CSP system the usage of fuel can be reduced with better productivity obtained from the plant. The methodology includes the mathematical modelling as well as thermodynamic modelling with development of MATLAB code along with that. There were two types of system applied that were photovoltaic system and concentrated solar power system. The basic parameter for photovoltaic system includes seasons that effects its efficiency and the basic parameter for concentrated solar power system is thermal fluid After doing all thus the final result could be concluded that is there was the improvement in efficiency after combining the thermal cycle with photovoltaic and concentrated solar power system. The overall efficiency of integrated system was enhanced and the efficiency of the integrated system obtained was 50%. This in turn leads to betterment of productivity of overall system with less consumption of working fluid. The validation of result was obtained by comparing the present work with the researches from past that incorporated the work. But the overall productivity was better than the validated results from past research work.
