Oxygen is a crucial medical treatment used for addressing hypoxemia at all levels of health care. Extensive surgeries, acute pneumonia, chronic lung diseases, and medical emergencies all require essential medical attention, and cardiovascular conditions. To enhance patient comfort and prevent dryness during oxygen therapy, a humidifier bottle is employed. This medical device, commonly known as an oxygen humidifier bottle, increases the moisture content of supplemental oxygen. It helps to prevent dryness in the patient’s airways while they breathe directly from the concentrator, providing long-lasting humidity for maximum comfort during medical procedures. The humidifier bottle ensures that the nose, mouth, lungs, and respiratory membranes remain hydrated, preventing them from drying out. Additionally, this paper discusses how oxygen, being a dry gas, can cause discomfort, such as a sore, dry, and bloody nose, which can be alleviated by using a humidifier bottle. The oxygen gains humidity by passing through a water bottle connected to the concentrator or liquid system.
