The proposed research work reveals the relative performance aspects of unconventional drying technology for perishable food items. The objective of a drier is to offer the articles with added thermal exposure than what is logically present in the surrounding air, thereby raising the crop moisture’s vapour pressure to a suitable level. As a result, the articles’ moisture migrations are enhanced. The aeration progression, which necessitates lots of power, is important for many industrial uses, including the food, textile, paper, and many other processing sectors. Solar drying methods appear to be the most cost-effective; also, environmentally safe. The primary drivers behind the growing use of renewed energy resource are the pollution that greenhouse gas secretions cause to the environment. When compared to conventional energy sources, geothermal, wind, and solar technologies are regarded as clean energy sources. Astral thermal power is a major source and important part of renewable resources and is used extensively across many industries. The indirect and forced air stream in the dryer was presented with variable mass and speed, where a direct solar collector has 42–53 °C and indirect solar collector has temperature between 58 and 70 °C, also such systems are environment-friendly.
