This chapter reviews Bangladesh’s agricultural policies, focusing on their impact on women’s participation and empowerment within the sector. It examines the key legal frameworks and institutional efforts aimed at promoting agricultural development and gender equality. It suggests that despite existing policies, significant barriers remain, limiting women’s full involvement in agriculture and decision-making processes. The chapter calls for more effective policy execution and institutional support to empower rural women in agriculture.
