Value-Added Utilization Technology of Titanium-Containing Slag

High-titanium slag and titanium melt-separating slag are high-grade titanium resources with carefully studied phase compositions, structures, properties, and utilization potential. The preparation of high-grade materials from high-titanium slag involves stepwise oxidation roasting, reduction roasting, acid leaching, alkali leaching, and acid washing to remove impurities. From titanium melt-separating slag, sequential acid leaching, alkali leaching, and additional acid leaching yield a product containing 92.7% TiO2, with a titanium recovery rate of 94.1% and a combined Ca+ Mg content below 1.5%. This material serves as a high-quality feedstock for chlorinated titanium dioxide production.
