A set of instructions, regulations, or guidelines known as an API allows programs or apps to access characteristics from some other app, network, or device to improve their own services. It’s a mechanism that enables applications to communicate with each other in a concise manner. This paper presents a dynamic environment for studying API development, which is in high demand in the IT market. The proposed platform uses two approaches, namely, LBD (Learning by Doing) and 4C/ID in teaching learning process of REST API Development. This solution would not only help users to build APIs by facilitating them to practice with coding questions, but it also assists them in acquiring API principles from reliable external resources. Thus, learner can learn more effectively by using the proposed platform.
